Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has stated that Arsenal and Manchester City are the only teams capable of winning the Premier League title this season.
City has secured the last two titles, with Arsenal finishing as runners-up on both occasions.Carragher believes Pep Guardiola’s squad will have the advantage again due to their superior array of game-changers. He commented, “I can only see Arsenal or City as contenders.
While Arsenal has come close twice and seems on the verge of making that next step, I still consider Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and Bernardo Silva to be better than Arsenal’s current options.“I think Arsenal is one attacking player short. While Bukayo Saka is a standout, the other attacking options like Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, or Leandro Trossard may need a more exceptional player to compete with Manchester City.”
