The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), a key revenue-generating agency, has announced the appointment of seven new Port Managers.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the Director General of NPA, Abubakar Dantsoho, disclosed the appointments in an internal memo on Friday.
The newly appointed Port Managers include Adebowale Lawal Ibrahim for Lagos Port Complex, Apapa; Abubakar Sani Isa for Tin Can Island Port Complex; Abdulrahman Hussaini for Onne Port; and Sa’adu Dahiru Mohammed for Delta Port.
Others are Emmanuel Anda for Lekki Port, Kenneth Edith Okezie for Rivers Port, and Ekine Ibifri Alex for Calabar Port.
The previous Port Managers, Charles Okaga, Sylvester Egede, Teslim Bamidele Makanjuola, Olumati Ikechi Festus, and Aliyu Abubakar, have been reassigned to the NPA headquarters, effective immediately, according to Dantsoho.
This marks Dantsoho’s second round of appointments since taking office as NPA Managing Director in July 2024. Earlier, he had formed a core team of aides following his appointment by President Bola Tinubu on July 12, succeeding Mohammed Bello-Koko.
