Isaac Omodewu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has passed away in the United States.
According to earlier reports, Omodewu departed Nigeria in November 2023 for medical treatment. After nearly a year of receiving care for an undisclosed illness, he passed away in the U.S., where he held citizenship.
When reached for comment, the state Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, confirmed the news, stating, “Our chairman is dead.”
