Victor Osimhen has reportedly agreed to join Turkish club Galatasaray, putting an end to the uncertainty surrounding his footballing future.

Osimhen, who has had a strained relationship with Napoli since a social media incident last season, was close to joining Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli and later Chelsea, but both deals fell through. Paris Saint-Germain had also expressed interest in the Super Eagles forward.

According to reports, Osimhen has now agreed to join Galatasaray but is seeking a revision of certain terms in his contract with Napoli.

It is also understood that Galatasaray has arranged a jet to bring him over once an agreement is finalized.

Fabrizio Romano explained Osimhen’s new demands, stating, “Victor Osimhen has accepted to join Galatasaray on loan.

Understand Osimhen is now asking for the release clause at Napoli to be reduced to €75 million from €130 million.

He also wants a break clause for January in case top clubs approach him for a move. Final details are being discussed.”

Galatasaray is expected to cover €9-10 million of Osimhen’s salary until the end of the season.

The loan deal with Napoli does not include any buy option or obligation clause.

Osimhen, 25, will join his national team colleagues for the upcoming qualifiers this month.
