Following the announcement of the results from the 2024 Edo State governorship elections at the collation center in Benin City on Sunday, NEWS REVIEW has compiled the results for the top three candidates.
These figures, as verified by the Independent National Electoral Commission, represent the candidates from the All Progressives Congress (Monday Okpebholo), the Peoples Democratic Party (Asue Ighodalo), and the Labour Party (Olumide Akpata).
Currently, the results are available for only 16 of the 18 Local Government Areas, with the remaining two yet to be collated. As a result, the collation process has been paused until 5 PM today.
The results are as follows:
APC: 244,549
PDP: 195,954
LP: 13,348
