Popular social commentator Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has voiced concerns for his safety after his home address was leaked online.
In a recent video, VDM shared that he discovered his current residence had been exposed in a cease-and-desist letter circulated on social media.
The controversy centers around a legal notice from Mrs. Esinjemiyotan Uruneyonjueyi Atsepoyi, the wife of Mr. Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, also known as Mr. Jollof. The letter, which has garnered widespread attention, threatens legal action against VDM in response to allegations he made against Mrs. Atsepoyi.
VDM explained that although the letter was not sent to him directly, it was addressed to him or his legal team.
He expressed alarm over the public disclosure of his address, stating that this has now put him at risk.
In an emotional video, VDM said, “I can no longer go home, my current address has been compromised. I have to start looking for another house.
I am living in a hotel, and I am scared to even go home to pick up my clothes.” This incident follows another controversy involving VDM, in which he leaked an audio recording allegedly featuring Nigerian cross-dresser Bobrisky claiming to have paid EFCC officials N15 million to drop money laundering charges against him.
The viral audio drew significant reactions on social media, further increasing the spotlight on VDM.
