A Shari’a court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna state, on Thursday, prohibited Aminu Adamu from entering his ex-wife Jamila Sani’s bedroom to visit their children.

The judge, Malam Anas Khalifa, issued the ruling after confirming that Adamu had made three pronouncements of divorce to Sani. “There is no marriage between you two due to the divorce pronouncements.

You must avoid meeting her in private,” the judge stated. “If you wish to see your children, do so outside her room.”

Additionally, the judge instructed Adamu to continue providing for his children’s needs, including food, school fees, shelter, and healthcare.

Earlier, Sani had requested the court to confirm the divorce pronouncements made by Adamu in June and grant her custody of their children.

Adamu also pledged to give his ex-wife a weekly feeding allowance of N15,000 for the children.
