Eminem, the American rapper, is set to become a grandfather. The 51-year-old announced the news in a music video released on Thursday for his song “Temporary.”
He dedicated the track to his daughter, Hailie Jade, who is expecting. Hailie, 28, later shared her own announcement on social media.
The video includes a montage of clips showcasing their lives together, featuring a moment when she gifts him a blue sweater with “Grandpa 1” written on the back.
Jade also presents what looks like an ultrasound scan, which a visibly surprised Eminem shows to the camera.
The social media influencer posted photos of herself and her husband, Evan McClintock, embracing while looking at the ultrasound image, captioning it: “Mom & dad est. 2025.”
“Temporary,” featuring singer Skylar Grey, is part of Eminem’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace), released earlier this summer.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, shares in the intro of this emotional track that it is meant for his daughter to listen to “When I’m no longer here.”
