Triple Tragedy in Anambra: Children of Native Doctor Brutally Murdered
Nise, Anambra State – In a chilling incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, three young children of a native doctor were brutally murdered in their home in Nise, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The horrific incident, which occurred late on Saturday, saw the assailants, yet to be identified, scale the fence of the family’s residence and gain entry into the compound. The children, aged between two and six years old, were subsequently found lifeless inside a parked Mercedes Benz car within the premises.
Local sources suggest that the killings may be linked to a business dispute the children’s father, a prominent native doctor and businessman, was allegedly involved in.
“The father, a young man in his early 30s, is known for his business ventures,” revealed an anonymous source. “He often left the children in the care of their mother while he attended to his business. Tragically, he returned to find his children lifeless, their bodies bearing the marks of a brutal attack.”
The Anambra State Police Command, confirming the incident, has launched a full-scale investigation and initiated a manhunt for the perpetrators.
“We have visited the scene of the crime, recovered the bodies of the deceased, and are actively gathering information from residents and the children’s father to apprehend the culprits,” stated SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police spokesperson.
The community of Nise remains in a state of mourning, grappling with the senseless loss of innocent lives. As the investigation unfolds, the police are urging anyone with information that could aid in the apprehension of the assailants to come forward.
