Spurs Captain Son Heung-min Secures Future with New Deal

Tottenham Hotspur have secured the future of their captain, Son Heung-min, by extending his contract until 2026. The 32-year-old South Korean star, who joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, has been a key figure in the Spurs attack.

With 169 goals in 431 appearances, Son sits fourth on Tottenham’s all-time scoring list. He shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah in 2021/22, a testament to his consistent brilliance.

As captain of both club and country, Son has enjoyed immense success. He has led South Korea with distinction, accumulating 131 caps and 51 goals for his nation.

This season, despite Tottenham’s struggles in the league, Son has continued to contribute, netting seven goals across all competitions. This contract extension ensures that the talismanic forward will continue to grace the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for years to come, much to the delight of the Spurs faithful.
