Tyson Fury Hangs Up His Gloves Again After Loss to Usyk

Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has officially retired from boxing, just weeks after his second defeat to Oleksandr Usyk. The 36-year-old announced his decision in a short video posted on Instagram, stating, “Thanks to everyone who helped out along the way! Happy new year. Jesus is king now and forever.”

Fury, known for his flamboyant personality and entertaining fighting style, has previously announced his retirement, only to return to the ring. This time, however, he expressed gratitude for his career, stating, “Thanks; it’s been a blast, I enjoyed every minute of it.”

The Manchester-born boxer’s recent loss to Usyk dashed hopes for a highly anticipated showdown with Anthony Joshua. After the fight, Fury remained ambiguous about his future, stating, “You might do, you might not do. Who knows?”

With a record of 34 wins, two defeats, and one draw, Fury leaves a lasting legacy in the heavyweight division.
