Nigerian Comedian Bovi Announces the Passing of His Father, Dr. Edward Ugboma, at 13th February 2025
Lagos, Nigeria – Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, has announced the passing of his father, Dr. Edward Sagini Ugboma. The Ugboma family confirmed the news in a statement released via Bovi’s social media channels on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
The statement read, “We, the Ugboma family, wish to announce the peaceful passing of our father, grandfather and uncle, Dr. Edward Sagini Ugboma (PhD) on this day, the 13th of February 2025.”
Dr. Ugboma, a holder of a PhD, is survived by his seven children: Judy, Edna, Bovi, Zino, Tano, Tome, and Jiji. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and a wide network of loving relatives.
The family expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support and condolences they have received during this difficult time. They acknowledged the numerous calls and messages from friends, fans, and well-wishers.
