NOA Director-General Urges Nigerian Muslims to Embrace Ramadan as a Time for Prayer, Unity, and National Development
The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lanre Issa-Onilu, has urged Nigerian Muslims to pray for peace, unity, and national development during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the agency’s Deputy Director of Media and Communication, Paul Odenyi, Issa-Onilu emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a time for spiritual reflection, devotion, and acts of charity in line with Islamic teachings.
“As a nation, we must seek peace and unity regardless of religious or political differences,” he stated, urging Muslims to renew their commitment to Allah and embrace the spiritual essence of Ramadan.
He also called on all citizens to pray for the present administration and the country’s progress, reaffirming NOA’s dedication to national development.
