NSCDC to Launch Nationwide Recruitment of Nigerian Youths in 2025, as Commandant-General Inaugurates New Bwari Divisional Office to Strengthen Security Operations
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has secured approval to recruit qualified Nigerian youths into its ranks in 2025.
Commandant-General Ahmed Audi made this announcement on Wednesday while inaugurating the NSCDC Bwari Divisional Office in Abuja. He stated that while the corps is set to commence recruitment, the official date will be announced in due time.
“We are preparing to recruit officially, and we appreciate Mr. President for the approval to bring well-behaved Nigerians into the service,” Audi said.
The CG also praised the Bwari Area Council for constructing the new divisional office, emphasizing its role in enhancing security. He urged other divisions to follow the example of Bwari and Kwali in providing improved infrastructure for the corps.
FCT Commandant Olusola Odumosu acknowledged the efforts of Bwari Chairman Dr. John Gabaya in building the facility, calling for additional support in furnishing the office and maintaining operational vehicles.
Odumosu also highlighted the corps’ expansion efforts, revealing the creation of new divisions, area commands, and observation posts to improve security operations at the grassroots level.
