Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun Approves Recruitment of 500 Additional Amotekun Operatives to Bolster Security, Enhance Community Protection, and Strengthen Statewide Safety Measures

Abeokuta, Ogun State – Governor Dapo Abiodun has authorized the immediate recruitment of 500 additional personnel into the Ogun State Security Network, known as the Amotekun Corps. This initiative aims to bolster security throughout the state.

Brigadier General Alade Adedigba (rtd), Amotekun Corps Commander, announced the recruitment drive, commencing Monday, March 10, 2025, just two months following the graduation of 690 newly trained operatives. This move underscores the state government’s dedication to enhancing resident security.

Applications will be accepted free of charge via the official website: ogunstateamotekun.com.ng, from March 10, 2025, to April 4, 2025. A rigorous screening process is scheduled from April 22, 2025, to May 1, 2025.

General Adedigba emphasized the recruitment’s role in strengthening the Amotekun Corps’ operational capabilities, ensuring improved protection for Ogun State communities. Eligible residents are encouraged to apply and contribute to the state’s security framework.
