Bisola Kola-Daisi, Eldest Daughter of Late Oyo Governor Ajimobi, Dies at 42 After Brief Illness in the UK
LONDON, UK – Bisola Kola-Daisi, 42, the eldest daughter of the late former Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away following a brief illness. The mother of three died in the United Kingdom on Thursday morning.
Prior to her death, Mrs. Kola-Daisi served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu. She was also a prominent figure in Nigeria’s luxury retail sector and a noted philanthropist. She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, an Ibadan-born politician and bank executive.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed condolences to Florence Ajimobi, the late governor’s wife, describing the news as “sad and shocking.” He extended his sympathies to both the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families.
Senator Sharafadeen Alli, representing Oyo South, also conveyed his deep sorrow, calling her demise a “tragic and painful loss.” He praised her as a “brilliant and accomplished professional” whose contributions would be “sorely missed.”
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced by the family.
