Victor Osimhen Addresses Transfer Rumours, Says He’s Focused on the Moment and Grateful to Galatasaray Fans: “This Club Will Always Remain in My Heart”

Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has responded to swirling rumours linking him with a summer move to Serie A giants Juventus.

The Napoli striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in blistering form, drawing interest from top European clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Juventus. A transfer decision is expected at the end of the season.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb on Friday, Osimhen downplayed the speculation, choosing instead to focus on the present.
“There are always rumours about me, but I live in the moment. Now I’m enjoying all this. The fans have supported me in an incredible way not only me, but also my teammates and my family. The best decision for everyone will be made. But Galatasaray will always remain in my heart,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian forward netted his 17th goal of 2025 in Galatasaray’s crucial win over Samsunspor on Friday. The strike puts him level with Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski and Sporting’s Viktor Gyokeres in joint-third among Europe’s top scorers this calendar year.

Only PSG’s Ousmane Dembele (24 goals) and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe (19 goals) have scored more than Osimhen, who now leads Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (14 goals) and Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy (13 goals).

Osimhen’s latest goal helped Galatasaray maintain their three-point lead at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table, following a recent derby loss to Besiktas.
