Ganduje Promises to Secure Diaspora Voting, Emphasizes Unity and Support for Tinubu’s Economic Reforms at APC France Chapter Inauguration

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, has revealed that the ruling party is collaborating with the National Assembly to ensure Nigerians in the diaspora are able to vote in future elections. Ganduje made this announcement while unveiling the new executive committee for the party’s France chapter in Paris over the weekend.

During his speech, Ganduje stressed the importance of unity among party members abroad, urging them to continue supporting the administration’s economic transformation agenda. He acknowledged that while President Bola Tinubu’s reforms may seem painful, they are essential for positioning Nigeria’s economy for long-term growth.

In a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje commended the diaspora for their active role in expanding the party’s membership abroad, highlighting their support for President Tinubu, particularly in light of the ongoing reforms. He emphasized that the APC is united, unlike other parties dealing with internal crises, and as a result, many prominent figures are joining the party.

Newly inaugurated Chairlady of the APC France Chapter, Hajia Amina Musa Baba Suzuki, underscored the critical role of the Nigerian diaspora not only as economic contributors but also as key political stakeholders. She expressed strong support for diaspora voting, urging the party to make it a reality during this administration, emphasizing the importance of Nigerians abroad in shaping democratic processes at home.

Among the distinguished guests at the event were Professor Hafsat Ganduje, wife of the APC Chairman, APC National Woman Leader Dr. Mary Alile, Chairman of all APC chairmen in Europe Mr. Tunde Doherty, and Oba Aderounmu Bamidele Sadiq, the Ilufemiloye 1 of France.
