Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun East Senatorial District have officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their sole presidential candidate for the 2027 General Elections, firmly declaring that there is “no vacancy in Aso Rock.”
The endorsement was announced in a communiqué issued after the party’s monthly meeting held in Ilase-Ijesa, chaired by Senatorial leader Hon. Akindele Famuyide (Jagu). The leaders also threw their full support behind Osun State Governor, Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, for a second term in 2026.
“Osun East PDP unanimously declared their endorsement of President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and Governor Ademola Adeleke for a second term in office come 2026 and 2027 respectively,” Famuyide stated.
The PDP leaders praised President Tinubu’s administration for its ongoing infrastructure projects and economic policies, noting that they have led to lower food prices and improved national security.
Famuyide emphasized that the endorsement reflects deep-rooted confidence in both leaders’ performance. “This overwhelming endorsement goes beyond mere symbolism; it is a clear reflection of genuine confidence and satisfaction with President Tinubu and Governor Adeleke’s delivery of democratic dividends. There is no credible opposition within our ranks—the entire Osun East bloc stands resolutely united behind this historic decision,” he said.
