Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has declared Ousmane Dembélé a deserving winner of this year’s Ballon d’Or award.
Speaking to TNT Sports after PSG’s stunning 5-0 win over Inter Milan in Saturday’s UEFA Champions League final, Enrique praised the French winger’s standout display.
“I’d give the Ballon d’Or to Ousmane Dembélé,” Enrique said. “The way he defended tonight… only that can be worthy of the Ballon d’Or. This is how you lead a team: goals, titles, leadership, defending, and the way he pressed.”

Despite not scoring in the final, Dembélé earned glowing remarks for his overall contribution. The 28-year-old has racked up 33 goals and 15 assists across all competitions this season, helping PSG clinch a historic treble.
Enrique concluded, “Ousmane is my Ballon d’Or. No doubts at all.”
Dembélé is among the top contenders for the prestigious award, alongside Barcelona duo Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
