Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, recently met with Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election.
A viral video shared on social media on Sunday captured the brief interaction between Obi and Portable at Benin City’s airport, the capital of Edo State, where they exchanged pleasantries.
After meeting the former Anambra State Governor, Portable expressed disappointment, stating that Obi didn’t offer him anything.
The singer, known for his controversial remarks, added that if it had been President Bola Tinubu, he believed Tinubu would have given him money. Portable commented, “Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu, he would have.”
