CAF 2025 Qualifier: Super Eagles to Face Rwanda on November 18

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda for November 18, to be held at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

This announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Matchday 6 fixture will conclude Group D’s qualification race for the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals, set to take place in Morocco, with the tournament kicking off in December 2025/January 2026.

CAF has also appointed a Moroccan officiating team for the game, led by Samir Guezzaz as the referee, with Zakaria Brinsi, Abdessamad Abertoune, and Kech Chaf Mustapha serving as assistant referees 1 and 2, and fourth official, respectively. Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will act as the match commissioner, while Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia will serve as the referee assessor.

For Nigeria’s Matchday 5 encounter with Benin Republic at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny on November 14, scheduled for 8 p.m. Nigeria time, Senegalese officials will oversee the match. Issa Sy will serve as the referee, with Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and El Hadji Amadou Sy as assistant referees 1 and 2, and fourth official, respectively.

Rene Williams Sere from Côte d’Ivoire will be the match commissioner, and Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola will be the referee assessor.
