Bukky Wright Returns to Nollywood After US Tech Career
Veteran actress Bukky Wright has revealed details about her life in the United States, including a career shift to the tech industry. In an interview with Saturday Beats, she shared that she pursued a career in tech while living abroad.
“I will be practising it (tech) simultaneously with entertainment,” Wright said. “The fact that I had to deviate totally from entertainment to tech was something many people thought I would not be able to do. I would tell all my mentees that if I can do it, they can do it too.”
While away, the actress yearned for Nigerian delicacies like amala and the camaraderie of working with Nollywood actors.
“I have a lot for fans, including my project— ‘The Return of Omotara Johnson’, which is coming and a whole lot of other things. I am back to stay,” she promised.
When asked about her secret to aging gracefully, Wright playfully attributed it to prioritizing beauty sleep.
