Davido Honors Timi of Ede on 70th Birthday with a Brand-New GAC GS8 SUV, Delivered During Five-Day Celebration Featuring Prayers and Chieftaincy Titles
Renowned musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted a brand-new GAC GS8 SUV to the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, in celebration of the monarch’s 70th birthday.
As an indigene of Ede, Davido’s gesture reflects his deep respect for the traditional ruler. The luxury vehicle was presented through Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, Chief of Staff to Governor Ademola Adeleke, shortly after an interfaith prayer session.
The gift is part of a grand five-day celebration honoring the Timi of Edeland, which will also feature a special ceremony where distinguished sons and daughters of Ede will be conferred with chieftaincy titles for their contributions to the town’s progress.
