NSCDC Deploys 2,250 Officers Across Lagos to Secure Lives, Property, and Critical Infrastructure During Eid-el-Fitr Celebration
LAGOS – The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, has deployed 2,250 personnel to ensure the safety of lives and property during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Lagos State NSCDC Commandant, Mr. Adedotun Keshinro, announced the deployment while addressing officers, citing the Federal Government’s declaration of March 31 and April 1, 2025, as public holidays for the festivities.

Personnel have been drawn from various units and divisions to safeguard critical national assets, including telecommunication cables, railway sleepers, transformers, and oil pipelines. The deployment aims to prevent economic sabotage and curb criminal activities.
Keshinro urged Lagos residents to embrace peace and unity while warning vandals against acts of economic sabotage, vowing strict enforcement of the law.
