Nigerian singer Oladapo Oyebanjo, widely known as D’Banj, paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the State House on Thursday.

The governor’s Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat, shared a video of the visit on X.com that same day.

In the video caption, Gawat wrote, “Between Governor #jidesanwoolu and #iamdbanj earlier today. Dbanj referred to the Governor as ‘the real Koko Master.’”

The visit took place ahead of the release of D’Banj’s new album, “The Entertainer: D’Sequel,” which is set to drop on Friday.

During the visit, D’Banj presented a commemorative plaque to Sanwo-Olu in honor of the album’s launch.

“The Entertainer: The Sequel” is said to be a continuation of D’Banj’s recent release, “Koko,” and further builds on the success of his previous track, “Since’04,” which celebrated his 20-year milestone in the music industry.
